Kind search parameter - extend to MS Office doc types

I do most of my searches in DEVONthink nowadays. For some searches, however, I still use HoudahSpot, because I can specifically search for certain document types (such as MS Office documents docx or pptx). Would it be possible to add those categories to the “kind” search parameter?

Kind is a DEVONthink-specific categorization but you could use the extension condition instead which supports all extensions found in your opened database(s).

Great! That did it. Didn’t know I have more than 100 extensions in the databases …

Yeah. It’s usually a surprise to see how many varied files are in a database.
