One of the things that seems to trip me up with DA as my browser is the lack of wrapping for URLs similar to Safari, e.g., enter the name “myfavoritesite” and hit enter and DA just sits there. Using Launchbar you can invoke Launchbar, type a period and enter the URL in a masked field Launchbar provides, hit return and it is sent to your default browser. Not too shabby.
Launchbar also lets you access your bookmarks with a few keystrokes.
I was a big Quicksilver fan, and still am, but the creator of Quicksilver suggested people use Launchbar if they want a stable solution as Quicksilver goes opensource, so I’m giving it a shot.
