Will DTTG allow other apps link DTTG’s directory/database in the future, so we can read and edit markdown files using Textastic or iA Writer?
Within the DTTG app, I use the share menu to edit records in external editors
We can also enable DTTG as a location in the Files app sidebar
iA Writer can do that，but if link directory is allowed，it will be more convenient for bulk editing.
The groups don’t exist in the filesystem so this is not possible (or at least it’s technically very difficult to achieve).
Then we have to accept the current setting. 
But this is not enough to work with other apps like what Textastic and Working Copy do.
Apple’s sandbox mechanism makes collaboration between apps very tortuous and difficult.
