Just a small tip based on some recent questions:
After converting a selected URL into a link (see menu Format > Make Link), it’s possible to rename the link, e.g.
- enter apple.com in a rich text document
- select the URL
- use "Make Link"
- replace the URL with "Apple" for example
Afterwards clicking on "Apple" will still launch the initially entered URL.
