Am I missing something? Is there somewhere I can see a list of recently open files? The File > Recent shows recent databases.

What if you duplicated the Smart Rule “Recently Added” (which I presume is a standard rule in DEVONthink as I don’t recall creating what I have and use) to “Recently Opened” and changed the date criteria to “Date Opened” and pick your filter as you wish?
