Little black boxes

All of a sudden there are little black boxes to the left of all of my items in my database. These are in the same list as the Inbox, Tags, Mobile Synch, etc. The latter have little icons. My items have black boxes.

I recently purged some fonts. Could this be a font issue?

A screenshot (command-shift-3 or command-shift-4) would be helpful.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling DEVONthink.
