I’ve begun fiddling around with Bionic from LM Studio. The two need to work together in the sense that you have to have LM Studio latest version and the latest version of Bionic which is only a week to ten days old. It’s an interesting interaction. It purports to be a set of tools or agents using LM Studio running not actively in the foreground but in the background. I guess it’s going to be a future suite of tools. Anyway, anyone fiddling with this?
Hadn’t heard of it until your post, but investigating. I’ve played around with locally-hosted models in the past, and really wasn’t all that impressed given my hardware limitations (M3 MacBook Pro with 36GB). But, they’ve made some quantisation improvements in recent months so maybe it’s time to try again. Thanks for the heads up!
I have downloaded it and am eager to explore it on my Macbook M4 Max with 64 GB
