Lose of "custom Data" while select from list

Hello,

I’ve notice a problem / bug and can’t remember if I’ve already reported.
It is really annoying when you try to manage lot of files.
I’m using “custom data” to manage file and generate automatic file name ( COMPANY - YYYYMMDD - OBJECT)

When I want to set a value on multiple file, it erase / delete previous custom data.

it should be able to change one custom date without erasing previous data.

It would be great to improve this feature / correct this bug (?), really.

The Info > Custom inspector supports multiple selections only if the current metadata of the selected items is the same, otherwise the fields & popups should be disabled. We’ll check this.
