FWIW some of us who’ve been using it for the full beta do like the stripes. I think it adds a bit of something like steampunk to the UI. In fact I’d really like it if they added orange traffic cones and flashing “woot-like” amber lamps to the final release.
So I guess you and I cancel each other out in this particular topic, which has been raised so often in the past that we’re all pretty tired of the inane discussion of it.
