macOS Monterey / Apple Mail Plugin

Did you start a support ticket as instructed?

The option you asked to complete seemed to just send you my log files. Those files contained a lot of personal data, that I am not willing to share.

In the end I enabled FULL Disk access, making DevonThink the only app ( other than Carbon Copy Cloner ) that has such access. That appears to solve the problem.

See page 182 of the outstanding “DEVONthink Handbook” (vers 3.8.2) for specific instructions about “full disk access”.

Note: If you are running macOS Mojave or later, you will need to give permissions for the Apple Mail plugin to access your email.
Quit DEVONthink.
Quit Apple Mail.
Enable Full disk access in System Preferences > Security > Privacy for DEVONthink.
Launch DEVONthink and install (or reinstall) the Mail plugin from the DEVONthink > Install Add-Ons.
Launch Apple Mail and enable the plugin via Apple Mail > Preferences > General > Manage Plug-ins.
