I’m seeing no issue here in iOS 17.6 and DEVONthink To Go 3.8.6.
What OS and version of DEVONthink To Go are you running?

Do you use any custom CSS? And could you maybe share an example document that shows that behavior?

I don’t, but found doing a restart of the app and iPad fixed the issue.
Using DTTG a lot more now with shortcut integration and using markdown editor.

Only suggestion would be to add the cursor at the end of the note when editing from a shortcut.
