A nifty feature of DEVONthink is its indexing of Markdown front matter. Front matter properties such as Title and Author will appear as metadata columns in DEVONthink’s file manager, and these fields can also be used for advanced queries. Very cool!
However, if you edit and save any Markdown file in another editor, such as Obsidian, DEVONthink ‘loses track’ of the front matter. Front matter properties will no longer appear as metadata columns in the file manager nor can they be used for search.
Is this something that can be addressed? Thanks.
