MCP Not working

Hello Team,

First of all thank you for the MCP server updated. Absolutely great. Sadly I was not able to run it correctly. I would use it with Claude Code, which works fine on my machine. I’ve checked that port 8420 is not used by the system. After a reboot Devon notifies me with this message:

I’ve also tried to change the port to 8421 but the error message remain the same. Also the “log” button doesn’t work. The server doesn’t start. I’m not sure if this is a known bug or not.

Do you have DEVONthink installed more than once?
Hold the Option key and choose Help > Report Bug.

Check the list of processes in the Activity Monitor.app - how many instances of DEVONthink MCP are running? Right after rebooting there should be only one if the option 'Settings > AI > MCP > MCP Server > Launch at login* is enabled.
