merging databases

Hi, community,
is it possible to merge different small databases in one, bigger and more structred DB? or, alternatively, is it possibile export/import files from on DB to another?
I am using DTOffice + 10.5.3

Ex- and importing (see File menu) retains the most important meta data (e.g. comments, URL etc.).
