I have used DT almost since the beginning and I need to reorganize my folders in my main database. What is the simplest and safest way to merge the contents of two folders? I realize I could drag or copy one older into a new but is that the only way? Is there anyway to id two folders and merge them? Under a new name?

Drag and drop copying is definitely a simple method. You can also select two groups, right-click one and choose Merge from the context menu. The merged group will be selected so you can press Return and edit the name immediately, if desired.
