Metadata and Tags

Within the last month, DEVONthink has stopped picking up the tags in my metadata block(I have “Convert hashtags to Tags” checked under Import in preferences). For example, I generally have a metadata block that looks like this:

---
uid: 20210510150855
title: Chapter Study
tags: #booknote #bible
---

If I move the tags outside of the metadata, they get picked up.

Currently hashtags specified as metadata aren’t supported, the next release will fix this.

As a workaround you could use one of the scripts in Convert hashtags found in text to tags.
