When making a new replicant file I don’t see the replicant group below the parent folder. I have the usual groups when making a new database such as “All Images” “All PDF Documents” and “Duplicates” but no Replicant group. I thought when I made my first replicant file this group would appear, it has not. Is there something I am doing wrong? I made several replicant text and PDF files but still no Replicant group.

Smart groups do not magically appear. *(in fact, the only one I can recall being made as an effect of such an action, is the Annotations smart group in DEVONthink 2.x. However, that is water long under the bridge.)*They are created and it’s simple to do.
In the database you’re working in, select Data > New > Smart Group.
Add criteria of Item is Replicated. This will display any replicated file(s) or group(s) in the database.
