Hello,
I’m new to DEVONthink and have started a free trial of the iOS app. When I try to create an account to sync with my computer, the “sign-in” button doesn’t work; it’s grayed out.
I must be doing something wrong.
Thank you for your help.

We can’t know if you do something wrong unless you tell us what exactly you’re doing.
For example
Screenshots could help, too, but if you are a new user, you might not be able to post more than one per post.
Welcome @informacyde
Are you running DEVONthink Pro or Server on your Mac?
No, only the 1-month trial version
So, is it not possible in the trial version?
Sorry but sync is not available in DEVONthink To Go during the trial period.
Ok thank you
Actually, just to avoid a misunderstanding here: Sync is indeed possible in the one-month trial based on an App Store subscription. It’s not possible in freemium mode.
So if the Sync settings are available, where exactly do you fail to set up sync?
Thank you for that clarification. Here is what I am seeing when I try to enter the codes to establish a connection. I might not be doing it correctly.
I’ve naturally included a password, which is masked in this screenshot.
What you see there has nothing to do with synchronization. It’s the login in your DT account as explained below the password field.
You access sync in your settings, which are behind the circle with three dots at the top of the iPad screen (don’t know where they are on the iPhone, as I’m still on DTTG3 there). Settings is the bottom entry, the three vertical lines with little circles on them. Click on that and you’ll get the preferences, which show the sync settings.
Actually, it functions in effect. Once the show starts, I will do my best to investigate my best policy regarding background control.
The problem relies on “life by second, life by as.” As a habitual warning, this can control the difficulties as you reply.
I can’t decipher this. It looks like a bad machine translation?
