Modify Excel file outside DT and no update in DT resulting in lack of sync

I have an Excel file (.xlsx) in DT 4 on my mac. When I edit the file in Excel using Open with and save it the contents of the file update but the Modified field in DT does not seem to update. This means that the file does not sync. When I check the file in the finder I can see that there is an update in the “Date Modified“ field.

  • Imported or indexed?
  • If indexed, from where in the Finder?

~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink/Inbox.dtBase2/Files.noindex/xlsx/3f/excelfile.xlsx

Note that the file is replicated in 2 places in the database

Does File > Update Items fix this? The document must be selected before using this command.

That worked. Many thanks @Cgrunenberg. Learnt a new command. Had never noticed that one before.
