Just a quick clarification question:

I want to automate moving certain items based on filename (banking excerpts named with account numbers)

I also now & then make use of Hazel and or Keyboard Maestro, anything that fits to reach the goal, so I think that’s also where the confusion stems from… endless possibilities…

I’m wondering now within DTPO if there are other ways to create rules instead of using smart groups?

Is there any way to apply an “action” like “move” or add custom icon?
The public beta of DEVONthink 3 supports smart rules, DEVONthink Pro Office 2 doesn’t.

- Are dtpo files compatible between v2 and v3? I would expect yes…
- Can we use v2 and v3 aside each other on the same machine?
