Moving a database to a new drive

I need to move a database to a new external drive. I know the actual files are stored outside the dtBase2 so I am not sure if it is as simple as drag and drop. I need to make sure everything for this database is transferred. I will still keep other databases on the current drive.

Is there a proper way of doing this or is it simply drag and drop the dtBase2 file?

Do you mean you are indexing, not importing files into the database?

Close the database and move the .dtBase2 file to the new location.

Correct. Importing makes a nice self-contained and portable database that can easily be moved as a single file.
