Hi, I just downloaded and started up DT4, when I noticed that the items I had had in my global inbox in DT3 were not available. I closed DT4 and opened DT3 to locate them, only to find that they had been deleted/gone missing from there too. Where are they and what happened to them? How do I get them back? Thanks for your help.

Do note you shouldn’t be running both DT3 and the DT4 beta: take a careful look at this post. (Sorry it’s not a direct answer to your question but it is important.)

I appreciate the suggestions, but beta or not, DT shouldn’t be losing data. I didn’t even know this version was a beta, and looking back at the website I see that the beta announcement is not immediately obvious, it’s in small print and in gray, difficult to read.
I ended up solving the problem by syncing with DT Togo on my iPhone, where the data still existed, which was easier than trying to figure to where it was in my backups. The problem has a happy ending, but it’s a little disappointing to see DT losing data like that.
