I’ve recently noticed that saving a web page from the share menu on iPad (iOS26, from safari, reddit, email, etc), it occasionally creates an enormous number of duplicate webloc files (one webpage I wanted to bookmark recently spawned over 3500 duplicates). This has only happened to five or six websites recently, and the only similarity seems to be an “Are you human?” captcha. I can’t see any other reason, and I’m definitely not manually saving that many files.
- What version of DEVONthink To Go are you running?
- Provide one or two websites for us to test.
I’m running DEVONthink To Go 4.0.6 on an iPad Pro 16,3, iOS 26.4.1 (and DT4 on my laptop).
Because I was concerned with runaway processes given the sheer number of copies, I deleted all of them, but will post here as soon as it happens again.
