Mysterious Downloading?

I have several databases I use regularly. One and only one, each time I sync it, downloads a full copy of the database to my download folder?

I use Dropbox and have “make available offline ON for all databases?

I have looked for an errant setting, but don’t see anything?

Any ideas?

What folder on the local drive is the database stored? In a folder synced with Dropbox?

I have a resident folder in Documents/databases where all databases are stored.

I also have a Dropbox folder on my Mac drive which syncs with DB of course.

Strange thing is only one of my databases does this.

I am not sure what you mean.

You have files in Dropbox “indexed” into DEVONthink?

Yes, what you report about the download is odd. can you tell from where it is “downloaded” or perhaps copied from?

I am struggling to think how DEVONthink does this.

The Dropbox folder only contains the sync stores.

And as you say a couple posts above that you have a Dropbox folder on your Mac that is the sync store? Really?

Please post a screen capture of DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sync.

Will but I am out of country for 10 days. No computer.

Are you using a Dropbox sync location or local sync stores in the Dropbox folder on your Mac?

Sync location not local. Maybe that’s a setting I have wrong just on this one ??

Thanks Jim: I removed and reset new sync locations and this has now been resolved.
