I’m used to the new note shortcut, ctl-command-n, creating a new rich text note. Starting a few days ago, it brought up instead some sort of sketchpad. Then today, those keys create a copy of the clipboard contents.
The shortcut shown on the data—new—rich text menu remains ctl-cmd-n.
Quitting DT and reopening did not fix this issue. It just caused me to lose track of the two items I had been working on that I had placed in the dock.
Some app changed the shortcut. This happens sometimes and has been discussed here before. There are free tools available that can tell you which app uses which shortcut.
