I enter a Forum search query; good results are returned.
Until today, I would click on one of those results and be taken to the entry with that title and the complete discussion underneath; I was taken to that discussion “page”, that discussion “thread.”
Today, I click on one of the results and am taken, instead, to a very large pop up window; it shows the query title and initial ask, which I already saw from the results of my search. I cannot see a way to access the complete discussion thread.

Besides this mishap, things in my safari bar looked all weird too including the search bar. Turns out in my explore of safari > system settings I had toggled an item that was the culprit. Safari systems > websites > reader… “automatically use reader?” seemed like it could be helpful in my new world of academic research so I toggled away. Toggles are now all back off again for “Reader” and I am again a happy Deb_Too. I will, however, return to that setting because I see I can choose off/on for more things that just that bad bad “Reader” which may be a good thing.
Phew! That’s an hour of being productive I will never get back again. Sigh.
Someday I will be able to get things to work. For now, back to the DT search I was attempting.
