I understand from reading the manual that if I use Apple Mail and install the plug in, then DT can automatically import new messages. I like the idea of including emails in DT searches, but… My GMail account currently holds around 45 gigs of emails and attachments. I currently use Mailplane because it supports Boomerang, which I find essential. So I’d have to set up Apple Mail solely for retrieving email.
Does this mean that Apple Mail will dump an additional 45 gigs onto my hard drive, and then DT will archive that creating a total use of almost 100gigs? That doesn’t seem worth it. How do people handle this?
