No way to remove groups from Favorites on iPhone

I have DTTG on both my iPhone and my iPad, with favorite groups in each. It’s no problem removing a group from Favorites on my iPad, but there seems to be no way to do this on the iPhone… see the attached screen shots.

What am I missing?

Actually, this is a technical limitation. The favorites set in Files.app are mirrored in DEVONthink To Go but it’s not a bidirectional sync between the two apps. Apples does not offer any means to manipulate favorites from other apps or extension. But you can, of course, remove the favorite in the Files app and this change should show in DEVONthink To Go.

Thanks - that allowed me to remove those items.

It seems very confusing that I can set Favorites either from within the app or from within the Files app. I guess that’s what the star is for - to indicate how the Favorites were set? Would it be less confusing to just forget about what’s setting Favorites has in Files and just show Favorites created within the app?

Correct, the star indicates a “Files app” favorite.
