I’m running Devonthink 4.1.1. In the Navigator, next to the name of one of my open databases, is number in an inverted-color oval. Another thread on this forum says that’s items in the inbox…but:
(1) I only have 1 item in the Global inbox, and
(2) If I click on the specific inbox for this database, I see no items awaiting action.
What gives?

My actual question here is “What does that black 3 on the grey oval mean”? I checked the manual but there was no indication (that I found.)
OK, I think it’s “unread documents”; I had imported some documents directly to a folder, so although they weren’t in the inbox, they were considered unread.
Yes, that is the unread item count, also noted by the emboldened character.
Are you sure that you imported them? The icon seems to indicate indexing.
