I found that specific pop-up doesn’t appear at the very top of the screen e.g. convert searchable pdf again…

What version of DEVONthink and macOS are you running?
Where exactly do you want the dialog box to appear? I don’t understand what you mean by “very top” when it looks like you do see it else how was the screen shot created?
currently at DT4.0b1 on macos 15.4.1 but same happens at DT3.9
it pop-ups behind the main DT window. I could try cmd+tilde(move focus to next window) to see the dialog box, but I think this is irrational and unnecessary.
The second beta will use a standard macOS alert, this should fix the issue.

What exactly did you try to download?
I entered through Your Account > My Licenses > Download DT4.0b2. thank you a lot in advance.
