OCR stops with error message

I have several folders with about 100 jpg files each and try to convert them to PDF+Text with “Data → OCR → searchable PDF”. I select all of the files in a folder and start OCR’ing them. The process returns errors in the DEVONthink log file in each folder after 50, sometimes only 30 files. Error is this:

MacOS Sonoma 14.5
iMac 27" (2020), Intel, 40 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD
DEVONthink 3.9.6

If I run the same processes on my M1 MacBook (8 GB), all files of OCR’ed without any problems.
