On versioning document like .docx

Hi,

I’ve read this blog post DEVONtechnologies | How to Use Versioning in DEVONthink , as well checked “Take Control of DT4” book where it says:

Now if I recall correctly, the way versioning was implemented in DT3 (with dropping the file on a versioning smart rule) DT3 was creating new version, no matter what type of document is ?

If I’m right about above, how can we accomplish same in DT4 ?
The reason for this request is that among other I keep MS Office files as well, like .docx, so versioning would be very useful for me on these type of files?

Versioning is currently limited to internal editing and therefore doesn’t support Office files.
