Hi,
I think it’d be a great option. Whether thru DT or from Spotlight, open notes in a new tab, in the current window, main or otherwise.
That’s already possible (at least more or less), either bei Option double clicking or by using Data > Open In Tabs.
Hello Christian,
I’m hoping for an option like Safari where thru any action of opening a note, double clicking, opening thru spotlight, cmd-O, …, notes are opened in a tab in the current window. the cmd-option-o or right click open in tab is ok but not exactly what I’m looking for.
One example, I’m not sure how to open multiple documents in one new tabbed window, separate from the main one? And then to add notes to it when I wish…
Data > Open In Tabs uses the current window if it has a preview pane. Therefore the only workaround right now is to use list or icon views, select multiple items and choose Data > Open In Tabs.
Thanks Christian,
I suppose this thread is more of a request or exploration of how to work with tabs. Sometimes I like to use a separate window and would like that to contain multiple tabs, while being to add new ones thru DT or Spotlight. A preference could work as well as what I’m more looking forward to, dragging tabs between windows like Safari.
