I know this has been covered before but I would like to see a pref for “open links in default browser”. OK it is possible to right-click to do that, but why not allow a pref to open in default browser be set as default mode. In this mode a right-click would open in DT.
Basically it would allow you to set the reverse of what happens now with a toggle to do it the current way. If you see what I mean. 
No idea how difficult this would be to implement.
If you open a document (for example a Web Location) using shift-command-O it will open in the default browser. Is this is not what you are looking, please provide more details.
Settings > General > Interface > Mouse Clicks: “Click on links opens them externally”

DEVONthink does have a lot of preferences. I don’t remember when this was added but I think it’s been around for a while.
