Every time I open a database in DT, it opens the requested database, and all the others I have used before. Is there any way to ask DT just to open the requested database?
On startup, DT opens the databases listed in the global sidebar under the Open Databases section. You may right click on anyone of those and chose Close Database. The next time your start DT, that database will not open.

At least for me, only if “Startup: Open windows that were open on quit” under Preferences > General is selected.
