Seems that when I add notes to any highlight, there will be a sticky note-like thing popping out, but if I annotated it from an outside app, the sticky note wouldn’t show up (which is good since I tend to add a lot of notes to my highlight when doing a literature review). Is there an option to hide these collapsed sticky notes? I assume we can view all the annotations in the sidebar?

Currently, no there is no such option to disable the note icon. Noted as a request, with no promises.
