Parsing RTFD

  1. I use this applescript: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2538&start=0
    to parse out my different bullets from rtfd files into separate DT notes. With a little tweaking, it works great. However, the embedded images get lost. Is there any way to get the embedded images from an rtfd file and import separately from the text?

  2. Also, I am actually generating these rtfd files from skim markup, but would prefer to import and parse files from skim notes directly. I have tried that applescript on skim notes, but it doesnt work as well and some of my edits get lost; also my skim notes always import in some strange font to begin with. In any case, is there a way to import and parse skim notes more directly?

Assuming that the RTFD document is visible in a window, then it should be possible to check all “attribute runs” for “text attachment” properties and their “file name”. However, it doesn’t seem to work and I’ll have to check this.
