I am currently using DEVONthink 3 on a Mac and DEVONthink To Go on an iPad and iPhone. If I create an annotation in a PDF on the Mac, I am not able to find the annotation in DTTG. I can see the highlight and the “sticky note” icon, but I can’t find the annotation itself. Is this expected behavior? Is the behavior the same in DT4? Thank you!
The PDF libraries used by DEVONthink on the Mac and DEVONthink To Go are different ones. Which kind of annotation do you miss in DEVONthink To Go?
I’m just highlighting some text in the PDF in DT3 and then adding an annotation in the annotation panel. In DTTG, I can see the highlighting and the sticky note indicating that an annotation exists, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to get to the annotation (or I’m just missing it). The PDFs are generated by the Mac’s built in print-to-PDF feature.
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
