I use pdf export highlights function a lot to review reference material.
In some cases I would love to be able to “highlight” the image/graph included in the PDF for the export into the summary file. Is there a way to do this?
No, it’s not possible to add highlights to an image so it wouldn’t be transferred to the summary document.
There is this rectangle functionality in the editing tool. Is not it technically feasible to export the content within that rectangle?
Development would have to assess this but a rectangle annotation doesn’t contain anything. In fact, annotations are on a separate layer of the PDF.
