PDF Zoom Level reset back to "Zoom to Width"

Hi,
Is there a way to keep the zoom level of a pdf when moving between files.
I noticed it’s always reset back to “Zoom to Width” each time I click on another file.
I like to work with “Zoom to Fit”, but I need to select that zoom level each time I select a pdf.
Am I missing that function in the options ?

These things are in the documentation, in this case Documents > PDF Documents in the built-in Help and manual

I have another unsolved mystery with DVtoGO.
When I rotate from portrait to landscape the PDF will display two pages.
Can I force it to see only one page ?

Tap the Settings button in the top toolbar and switch to Pages > Single.

Don’t forget our apps have a built-in Help and manual. See: ? > View & Edit Documents > Common Options.

I already tried that, with no success.
Until I select the “single page” option twice.
First time, no change, second time will make it happen.

  • What version of iOS and DEVONthink To Go are you running?
  • Does the behavior persist after rebooting the device?

iPadOS 17.4.1

I think I found the issue.
The checkmark is not moving from Single to Automatic after selecting Automatic (under Setting > Pages). It’s always showing Single as selected.

Are you saying it reverts to Automatic when you reopen this PDF?

No. The checkmark do not move to Automatic when selecting automatic, but the behaviour will be “Automatic”. It’s just visual.
Because the checkmark do not move, we do not know what is selected, we just need to select it to be sure we are in the right setting.

Hmm… is anyone else seeing this? @aedwards or @eboehnisch ?

Just tried here on the iPhone and the checkmark travels from Automatic to Single and back according to my selection :thinking:
