Is there any way to get this service to work in MS Word? Otherwise I will just use it in textedit and copy it all into Word manually
Unfortunately, Microsoft isn’t very Services aware.
Using TextEdit as an intermediary works, of course.
If you have Pages, that works even better, as it can produce well-formated MS Word export output, including headers and footers, bookmark links, footnotes, etc. Just select and drag or copy/paste text from DT/DT Pro to Pages. What’s neat, if you need Word output, is that an RTFD document in DT/DT Pro will send the images and any hyperlinks over to Pages, then the Pages export to Word properly carries over and places the images in the Word document. (MS Word-readable RTF from TextEdit can’t include images.)
