I’m using DT3 at the moment. I would like to find a way to search for nine digit phone numbers (the standard in Poland) even though the numbers may be split different ways. For example, to search 123456789 and have it find 123 456 789 or 123 45 6789 etc. I guess this requires some kind of proximity and sequential search. I did ask ChatGPT to produce me a DT script, but despite several attempts, no script worked, although the scripts did open a search box in DT where I could input the number sought as 123456789, albeit nothing then happened when executed. But perhaps there is an easier way and I am missing something simple?
- You likely need no script.
- You want to search for phone numbers in what - the content, filename, metadata, …?
Sorry, should have said, just a search within content…
No worries
Are you talking about a toolbar search or smart rule/batch processing?
Ideally, just a simple toolbar search. I can retain, and then paste a boolean search, perhaps, and just change the numbers within it?
