Please bring Squiggle to DT4

I found some small features available in DTTG4 but missing in DT4. If I’ve overlooked these functions in DT4, please let me know how to use them. If there are indeed differences, please consider bringing them to DT4.

  1. Squiggle
This annotation feature is extremely useful. It can be distinguished from Underline.

But I noticed a bug (possibly): After annotating with Squiggle in DTTG4, using Tools > Summarize Annotations in DT4 does not include the Squiggle annotations in the output file.

Even if you don’t plan to add Squiggle to DT4, please do not remove it from DTTG4.

  1. Copy Row Link
In DTTG4, you can select a row in a sheet file (.tsv) and use Copy Row Link, but this option is unavailable in DT4, though it can still be achieved by manually adding it to the end of the link.

Squiggly underlines are part of the PDF standard and supported by the PDF library we use in DEVONthink To Go but macOS’ PDF library does, as far as I can see from here, not support them. If you open the same PDF in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Viewer you should see them.

Thanks for your reply. I understand the difference you mentioned.
Adding this feature might be challenging, but could we have DT4 support the Tools > Summarize Annotations function for Squiggle-type annotations? (Annotate by DTTG4 or other PDF readers)
