Any ETA on when the Plug-in API will be available? I’d like to develop one that will search the numerous legal topical and statutory and caselaw web-sites.
The API will be released at the end of the month or beginning of November (the API needs some final finetuning). If you’re interested in the current API, just drop me a mail and I’ll send you the API (and one or two examples) next week.
I just want to add a word of encouragement to dwmcqueen on the lagal topic plug in. I think that would be great! As an attorney, I have often wished one was available for DA. I do get some results, of course, but one specific to the legal market would be most helpful.
The Cocoa-API will probably be released at the end of Q2/beginning of Q3. However, did you have a look at the XML interface? Although it’s quite simple, this interface should be sufficient for most websites.
