If OSX printing makes this possible by passing on the right attributes, I suggest that the OpenMeta tags on documents created / edited externally be preserved when the document is printed to DEVONthink via the “Save PDF to DEVONthink Pro” PDF Service. For example, an rtf tagged externally (say, by Punakea), when printed as a PDF to DEVONthink, has no tags. But, if that RTF is dragged to the database, the tags are preserved.
