Hello all,
I’m using DT on my MacBook and on iPad. A few weeks ago I experienced problems with syncing the iPad. The Databases are not in sync and the iPad is downloading files from iCloud with never finishing. Even after two full days (!) sync is not complete. The database is large (20GB) but I have bandwidth enough, so the download can not be the problem. Has anyone an idea what I can do to make DT working again on the iPad?

As this kind of problem is reported regularly here, a search in the forum should turn up various things to try and information to explore. No need to repeat all that.
Fully in support of @chrillek’s observation and advice about all this discussed ad nauseam esp. re Apple’s iCloud. Meantime, you can also see good info on page 188 of 3.9.6 version of the outstanding “DEVONthink Manual”.
What to do when encountering a sync issue is discussed and documented in many places, including our FAQ…
And issues with CloudKit are often discussed in here too.
Hi all,
I have read this “How to`s” quite often (using DT for years with frequently sync problems … quite normal). The problem with syncing iPad persists. Now I tried to move to CloudKit as described in the FAQs. Three databases with no problems the fourth produces the error “invalid could key” (I used no key, at my own risk, I know). The database in question is checked via DT and healthy. Are there any advises or suggestions what to do next?
Have you found and read the related threads here (ie those related to invalid iCloud key)?
Yes. On DEVONthink To Go’s databases screen, select ? > Contact Us to start a support ticket. Thanks!
