Problem with Devonthink Sorter Screen Shot

I regularly use the devonthink sorter to take a screen shot. Todayu I was trying to do that over a sketched drawing of a blog and it took the picture but now that picture is in the sorter and it will not complete the transaction. I have exited devonthink, even switched machine off but when I boot up and load devonthink it contues to be there this means I can’t use the screenshot tool for devonthink. When I use the ordinary MACOS ascreenshot it works normally and loads the screenship automatically to my devonthink in box. Is there a way to get devonthink to purge that particular picture and resume life as a screenshot tool?

This will be resolved in the next maintenance release.

  1. Quit DEVONthink.
  2. In the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library.
  3. Go into Application Support/DEVONthink 3/UnifiedCapture. Your image should be there.
  4. Move the image out of this directory, e.g., to your desktop or to the Global Inbox’s alias.
  5. Relaunch DEVONthink.

In the interim, please make use of macOS’ built-in screen capture functions. We apologize for the interruption.
