Problem with email import

Historically importing large volumes of Apple Mail messages has been very quick, now it is taking 10-12 hours ti import 4210 emails on a M3Pro with 1tb Disk and 36Gb Ram. Have tried a new database and reindexed apple mail. No improvement. Any suggestions please. I’m using DTP 3.9.11.

  • One what operating system?
  • Are the emails local to the Mac?

Sequoia 15.5 and yes emails on the MAC. Just trying it now woth Outllok for the Mac V 16.98 and appears to be the same proble. Looking at DTP Activity Window it just says importing, nothing else.

Ahh… 3.9.11. (Sorry, my mind is full of other things at the moment.)

There is a regression that will be addressed in the next maintenance release. You can downgrade to DEVONthink 3.9.10 in the interim, if it’s critical to do this now.
