I’d like to be able to look over a clickable, searchable list of the first lines of the highlighted areas of a document. Is there a way to do this now, or might this be a planned feature addition?
Thank you for the suggestion, this is not yet possible or planned. However, one workaround is to use a script to merge the highlights of the selected rich text documents. See viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9616#p44709

Hi. I was just looking for this functionality (so as not to have to go Skim, for example). The annotation pane shows notes but not a list of highlights, as far as I can tell. Is that right?
No, that is incorrect. Tools > Document > Annotations in DEVONthink 3 lists all the annotations on a document, including highlights and their colors.
