I use a lot of smart groups, usually relying on tagging of incoming documents.
In the smart group conditions you can select whether any or all criteria are met.
Is it possible to set the rules up to have one mandatory criterion & any of two or more other criteria?
Of course (and this has been available for years in DEVONthink 2).
Hold the Option key when viewing the criteria editor and the plus buttons will turn to an ellipsis - …. Subcriteria have an Any or All option as well.
